This hotel is very high quality, from the location (just next to Ponte Vecchio) the rooms arrangement/layout, cleanliness and the staff is excellent! Just to name few people who went beyond: Monika, Robert and Jonathan from the breakfast restaurant were wonderful to us! Our cappuccino had our names on them!! So cute! From the reception/booking Simone did a wonderful job accommodating my mother (79yo) needs offering us an extra room so she wouldn’t sleep on a lower bed which would bother her knees… Luka from front desk also was outstanding! Can’t forget Barbara, manager, who was amazing to us as well! We actually extended our stay due to such a great experience we had! Thank you Berchielli staff!

1. Excellent Location impossible to beat. Right in the historical center of Florence, on the bank of river Arno next to the amazing bridge of the renaissance times. 2. While the hotel is created from joining three separate palazzos of 16th century, it was tastefully remodeled multiple times and has both historical charm and all modern amenities. "Art Nuovo" interior is a wonderful stroke of a masterpiece. 3. Customer service is at its best. You are being treated as a royalty. 4. Rooms are spacious and have everything you'd need for your stay.

The location was wonderful and the room (a twin) was more than sufficient. After almost 20 hours of travel time to get to Florence, this hotel was very accommodating and had my room ready early (as I had requested). I am so happy they were able to do this for me as I was exhausted when I arrived and cannot imagine waiting 5+ hours for the room to be ready. The breakfast, included in the price I paid, was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and called me a taxi when I needed it the next day. Highly recommend.
